Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • your name, email address, telephone number and messages when you contact us;
  • billing and delivery addresses, order contents, payment status and other information needed to process an order;
  • vehicle and appointment information supplied with a service-booking request, including registration, make, model, year, mileage, preferred date and notes;
  • account details if you create a customer account;
  • technical information such as IP address, browser, device information, security logs and cookie preferences; and
  • analytics information where you have consented to non-essential cookies.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Payments are handled by the payment provider selected at checkout, including PayPal.

How and why we use it

  • answer enquiries and take steps requested before entering into a contract;
  • process, deliver and administer orders and payments;
  • receive, confirm and manage service-booking requests;
  • provide customer service and deal with returns, refunds and complaints;
  • keep accounting, tax and transaction records where the law requires us to;
  • protect the site, prevent fraud and improve our services where this is in our legitimate interests; and
  • run optional analytics or marketing technologies where you have given consent.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.

We share information only where needed with organisations that help us operate the business, such as website hosting and maintenance providers, WooCommerce, payment providers, delivery companies, email providers, analytics providers used with consent, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an appropriate legal safeguard for the transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected and to meet legal, accounting, tax, warranty and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
